Join us for an evening seminar on the topic “Cybersecurity unveiled” in Zurich on 07 Feb 2024.
The event will feature David Jacoby, one of Sweden’s boldest hackers and IT security experts with over 25 years of experience in ethical hacking and numerous awards for his groundbreaking research in cybersecurity. Renowned for his bold approach, David has demonstrated his expertise on Swedish TV’s “Hackad,” where he and his team highlighted live hacks on national television. He also acted as an advisor to books such as David Lagercrantz’s sequel to The Millennium Trilogy.
Additionally, the event will host Valentin Zahnd, a Swiss cybersecurity expert with over fifteen years of experience in various domains, from offensive security engagements to building security management systems. Valentin’s unique ability to bridge the gap between technical aspects and business needs ensures that organizations are well-prepared for the challenges of today’s digital landscape.
The event will talk about the history of cybersecurity, what the future will bring us and how you can work proactively to prevent cyber attacks. David Jacoby will also demonstrate a live hack during the evening.

David Jacoby
Founder/Hacker at Sprinkler Security Sweden AB & Unbreached AB
David Jacoby is one of Sweden’s boldest hackers and IT security experts. He has over 25 years of experience in professional hacking and has won several awards both as a speaker and for his unique research and dedicated work to stop digital crime. In addition to his own research, he has been a technical advisor to some of Sweden’s most successful IT security companies.
He acted as an advisor to books such as David Lagercrantz’s sequel to The Millennium Trilogy. He is also mentioned in the books “A Guide to Kernel Exploitation: Attacking the Core”, “Generation 500”, “Swedish Hackers”, and most recently “Cybersecurity ABCs”. In 2021, the Anti-Theft Association (Stöldskyddsföreningen) gave David his token of merit for his work to stop digital crime.
As part of his research, he has hacked his own home – and shown how to hack a country. He has also shown how he could get into a fully updated Mac without any hacking tools. In SVT’s success “HACKAD”, David Jacoby and three colleagues have hacked Swedish companies live on the TV screen, and shown the complexity and necessity in issues such as IT security.

Valentin has been working in the cyber security field for over fifteen years and acquired experiences in a lot of different areas needed to protect and defend an IT landscape. For event registrations our general policy is that refunds will only be issued for cancellations occurring 3 days or more prior to the event start date. For cancellations 1-2 days before a refund of 50% will be issued. In case of cancellations the same day or non-attendance (“no-show”) the entire participation fee will be charged. In case of no-show for events free of charge, the SSCC will charge a no-show fee of CHF 50.
Any variation from the above stated policy must be clearly indicated at the time the event registration occurs, and the policy above shall be deemed applicable in the absence of any other notification.
