The Swedish Swiss Chamber of Commerce in collaboration with Tetra Pak and the International Institute for Management Development (IMD) are very pleased to invite you to our SSCC Business Talk event in Lausanne on 2 May 2023.
At this event, we have the pleasure of welcoming Adolfo Orive, President and CEO of Tetra Pak, Charles Brand, Executive Vice President for Processing Solutions & Equipment, Tetra Pak, and Professor Jean-François Manzoni, President of IMD and Nestlé Professor of Leadership and Organizational Development, as speakers.
Driving Sustainability Transformation. The presentation by Tetra Pak will attempt to give a glimpse of the upcoming sustainability trends and imperatives that we need to collectively address as an industry, in order to drive sustainability transformation.
Professor Manzoni will explore how you can accelerate your organization’s transition to a more sustainable and inclusive approach.

Adolfo Orive
President & CEO of Tetra Pak
Adolfo has been President and CEO of Tetra Pak since April 2019. With a career spanning over two decades at Tetra Pak, he has led various functions and businesses across geographies.
Playing a fundamental role in defining the company’s strategy, Adolfo has been a driving force behind the company’s purpose – to commit to make food safe and available everywhere, and to Protect What’s Good – protecting food, people and the planet.

Charles Brand
Executive Vice President for Processing Solutions & Equipment of Tetra Pak
Charles has been Executive Vice President for Processing Solutions & Equipment since November 2021. He was previously Vice President for Europe & Central Asia and a member of the former Global Leadership Team.
He joined the company in 1985 as an Electronics Development Engineer. He later held positions including Executive Vice President of Product Management & Commercial Operations and Managing Director of Tetra Pak Taiwan.

Professor Jean-François Manzoni
President of IMD and Nestlé Professor of Leadership and Organizational Development
Jean-François Manzoni is the President of the International Institute for Management Development (IMD), where he also serves as the Nestlé Professor of Leadership and Organizational Development. He has been working with executives for 30 years, living in 5 countries and working in more than 30.
His research, teaching and advisory activities are focused on leadership, the development of high-performance organizations and corporate governance. The recipient of several awards for teaching excellence, he also received numerous awards for his research and case writing activities, including for his seminal book “The set-up-to-fail syndrome: How good managers cause great people to fail” (with Jean-Louis Barsoux). A Fellow of the Singapore Institute of Directors, Professor Manzoni currently serves on the Board of Keppel Corp., an international diversified group listed on the Singapore stock Exchange and previously served on the Boards of AACSB International (the world’s largest business education alliance) and Singapore’s Civil Service College. A citizen of Canada and France, Professor Manzoni received his Doctorate from Harvard Business School.

For event registrations our general policy is that refunds will only be issued for cancellations occurring 3 days or more prior to the event start date. For cancellations 1-2 days before a refund of 50% will be issued. In case of cancellations the same day or non-attendance (“no-show”) the entire participation fee will be charged. In case of no-show for events free of charge, the SSCC will charge a no-show fee of CHF 50.
Any variation from the above stated policy must be clearly indicated at the time the event registration occurs, and the policy above shall be deemed applicable in the absence of any other notification.
