SCI BUSINESS BREAKFAST – THE POLITICAL LANDSCAPE IN SWEDEN PRE-ELECTION
Welcome to this webinar on the political landscape in Sweden pre-election hosted by Swedish Chambers International in Europe on 19 May 2022, reflecting on the upcoming general elections in Sweden which will take place in September 2022.
We are very pleased to welcome Daniella Waldfogel, Chief Policy Officer, and Stefan Westerberg, Chief Economist, both from Stockholm Chamber of Commerce, who will be reflecting on the upcoming general elections in Sweden in September. Daniella will talk about what questions will be key to the Swedish electorate and the consequences for business and trade relations. Stefan will give an update on the state of the economy in a broader aspect and the effect of the Ukraine war on Swedish businesses.

Daniella Waldfogel, Deputy Director and Chief Policy Officer, Stockholm Chamber of Commerce
Daniella Waldfogel is Deputy Director and Chief Policy Officer at the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce. Prior to joining the Chamber she held a position as Team Lead Public Affairs at one of the leading Nordic Advisory Firms, specializing in advocacy, stakeholder management and lobbying. Daniella
Waldfogel has also served as political advisor to the leader of the Swedish Moderate Party delegation at the European Parliament in Brussels. She holds a Master of Political Science from Uppsala University in Sweden.

Stefan Westberg, Chief Economist, Stockholm Chamber of Commerce
Stefan Westerberg is chief economist at the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce and has worked with business and enterprise affairs, as well as international trade policy issues, for over 15 years.
