Reinhard Cluse
Managing Director and Chief Economist for Europe at UBS
Reinhard Cluse is a Managing Director and Chief Economist for Europe at UBS. In 2017-2022, Reinhard’s team ranked #1 in the Institutional Investor survey for Developed Europe. In 2018-2022, Reinhard also ranked first individually. Between 2014 and 2018, the team also ranked #1 in the Extel survey, and Reinhard ranked first individually in 2016-2018. Before assuming leadership of the European economics team in early 2013, Reinhard led UBS’s Emerging EMEA economics team, which consistently ranked in the top 3 in external surveys, including #1 rankings in both Extel and Institutional Investor in 2012. Reinhard joined UBS in 2002 and holds a master’s degree and a Ph.D in economics from the University of Freiburg, Germany.
