Focus & Flow

Well-being as a foundation for learning
At SSHL, we see student well-being as a crucial part of successful learning. That is why we actively focus on well-being, balance in everyday life and sustainable learning. We have launched a three-year project called Focus & Flow, together with Jonathan Beale (Harvard & Oxford). The project aims to strengthen students focus and presence, leading to improved academic results and students who feel better. Through close mentoring, dedicated boarding teams, a rich range of extracurricular activities and an environment where students feel safe, supported and seen, we create the conditions for greater motivation, improved focus and long-term development. Our ambition is for every student to leave SSHL with strong academic results, but also with self-awareness, balance and the personal skills needed to succeed in life beyond school.

Terms & Conditions

For event registrations our general policy is that refunds will only be issued for cancellations occurring 3 days or more prior to the event start date. For cancellations 1-2 days before a refund of 50% will be issued. In case of cancellations the same day or non-attendance (“no-show”) the entire participation fee will be charged. In case of no-show for events free of charge, the SSCC will charge a no-show fee of CHF 50.
Any variation from the above stated policy must be clearly indicated at the time the event registration occurs, and the policy above shall be deemed applicable in the absence of any other notification.
