THE WALLENBERG FOUNDATIONS, INVESTOR AND FAM
The family’s activities are mainly connected to the Wallenberg Foundations, Investor AB, FAM AB and their associated holdings. SEB, founded by André Oscar Wallenberg in 1856, continues to play a central role in the family’s activities.
The basis for the Wallenberg family’s activities is to be an active owner in the companies in which the Wallenberg Foundations have ownership interests through Wallenberg Investments AB, Investor AB and FAM AB. The family’s long-term work with these international corporations, and the successes of each company, enable the Foundations to distribute approx. SEK 2.8 billion annually to research and education in Sweden.
Patricia Industries is part of Investor AB. Investor has three distinct business areas: one focuses on active ownership in listed core investments and another – Patricia Industries – develops and expands the portfolio of wholly-owned subsidiaries. The third business area is the private equity firm EQT.
Navigare Ventures sits under Wallenbergs Investments.

Speakers
Christian Cederholm, Head of Patricia Industries
Christian is Head of Patricia Industries since February 2021, and was previously Co-head of Patricia Industries during 2017 and 2021. Christian is based in Sweden. In 2001, Christian joined Investor AB as an investment professional working with a broad set of companies and industries. Over the years, increased focus on investment and development of the privately held companies. Christian also led the acquisition of Permobil in 2013.
Christian serves on the board of Hi3G Scandinavia and Mölnlycke Health Care.
Christian received a M.Sc. in Finance from the Stockholm School of Economics, Sweden. Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
Fred Wallenberg, CFO and Investment Manager Navigare Ventures
Leveraging his background in private equity, Fred focuses on growth and industrialization at Navigare. He has several years of experience from investing in healthcare and industrial technology at Patricia Industries in New York and Prorsum Capital in Zurich. Prior to Patricia, Fred worked at BBH in New York and Temasek Holdings in Singapore. Fred holds a B.Sc. from Georgetown University and an M.B.A. from the IMD Business School.
Patricia Industries is a long-term owner that invests in companies and works to develop each company to its full potential. Patricia Industries is a part of the industrial holding company Investor AB, whose main owner is the Wallenberg Foundations.
Navigare Ventures, based in Stockholm, is a fully owned subsidiary of Wallenberg Investments AB. Navigare Ventures is an early-stage investor specialized in science-driven companies. Through their investments, they strengthen the industrial and societal impact of research, as well as the long-term financial capacity of their owners.

Terms & Conditions
For event registrations our general policy is that refunds will only be issued for cancellations occurring 3 days or more prior to the event start date. For cancellations 1-2 days before a refund of 50% will be issued. In case of cancellations the same day or non-attendance (“no-show”) the entire participation fee will be charged. In case of no-show for events free of charge, the SSCC will charge a no-show fee of CHF 50.
Any variation from the above stated policy must be clearly indicated at the time the event registration occurs, and the policy above shall be deemed applicable in the absence of any other notification.
