AMBASSADOR JAN KNUTSSON PRESENTS HANSUELI MÄRKI WITH THE ROYAL ORDER OF THE POLAR STAR.
Ambassador Jan Knutsson and Mr. Hansueli Märki, former Chairman of the Swedish Swiss Chamber of Commerce, celebrate the appointment of Mr. Märki as Commander of the Royal Order of the Polar Star. Congratulations Hansueli Märki and thanks for serving as Chairman of the SSCC for more than 11 years.
The Royal Order of the Polar Star is given as a reward for Swedish and foreign “civic merits, for devotion to duty, for science, literary, learned and useful works and for new and beneficial institutions”. Mr. Hansueli Märki is one of two Swiss nationals to receive this honor the second being Dr. Beatrice Bondy Engström.
