On Thursday 22 March 2018, SSCC hosted its Annual General Meeting in Bern and celebrated its 10 Years.
Chairman Hansueli Märki opened the Annual General Meeting which was attended by close to 70 delegates from member companies or individual members. The Annual Report was presented by Managing Director, Eva Fiorenzoni, going over the activities by the SSCC for the past year. Mats Rönneskog, Treasurer of the SSCC, presented the financial statements where we could proudly announce black numbers for our 10th year celebration. The Chairman closed the meeting and opened up for the 10 year celebration speeches by Bo Hjelt, one of the founding members, part of the advisory board and now elected honorary member of the SSCC. Ian Lundin, First Chairman of the SSCC Board and Chairman of the Board of Lundin Petroleum AB. Lundin Petroleum was one of the founding patron members in 2008. Finally, the first Managing Director of the SSCC, Johan Mannerberg, held a speech going back in time of the first years at SSCC.
We welcomed Henrik Norlin, EF Education First, as a new director of the board and thanked Mercedes Hernandez, Atlas Copco, and Lennart Sindahl, Saab AB, for their time and valuable contributions.
The SSCC is today one of the most active foreign chambers in Switzerland and has, in only 10 years, grown to be the 4th largest Swedish Chamber abroad.
